Bolshaya Belaya River

The Bolshaya Belaya River (Russian: Больша́я Бе́лая Bol'šaja Belaja; Buryat: Ехэ Бүлэн Jexe Bülen) is a river in Irkutsk Oblast and Buryatia in Russia, a tributary of the Angara River, which flows into the Bratsky Reservoir. Its length is 359 km (223 mi). The area of its basin is 18,000 km2 (6,900 sq mi). Principal tributaries are the Urik and the Malaya Belaya Rivers. The Bolshaya Belaya River freezes up in October–November and stays under ice until April–May. There are nephrite and graphite deposits in the Bolshaya Belaya basin.
